Obituary of Betty L. Porter

Betty Merkel Porter of Victor, NY died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Highland Hospital after a brief illness. She was 88. Betty was born May 19, 1930 in Honeoye Falls, NY the daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Starken Merkel. She worked for many years as a teaching assistant at Victor Central School District and was a long time member of the Mendon Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles and she is survived by her loving children, Sue Fletcher, Terry (Linda) Porter and Dennis (Shirley) Porter; grandchildren, Amy Popolizio, Lisa Heiney, Christina Popolizio, Andy Porter, Todd Porter, Jenny Leddick and Ally Stephens. And (5) Great Grand Children. No prior calling. Friends may attend Services Monday, October 22 at 10:30 am at the Westminster Hall and Chapel, 3886 Rush-Mendon Road, Mendon, NY.
