When I learned of Betty's death, my heart sank. As she was, in the words of my Aunt Harriet. "special". After Charlie's death, Aunt Betty started coming to our Christmas in July family gatherings. She was a joy to know and I found it easy to speak with her about our Christian faith.
She was talented, giving, thoughtful, and, as described in her euology a "prayer warrior".
This world will not be as wonderful without her.
I am confident she is "present with the Lord", and wish peace to her family.

Sue, Terry and Dennis, your mom was always my favorite aunt and I made time to visit with her when I was home. I am so happy that we had our visit last month and got to catch up on the family. I know your hearts are heavy, but always remember the wonderful times and memories. Love and prayers. Sandy

Betty will always be a member of the Mendon Presbyterian Church family where she was baptized, married and will be memorialized after 88 years of a good and gracious life. Her church family loves, honors and remembers her today, tomorrow and always. She is now in the loviing care of her Lord and Saviour. Reuniting with family and friends passed is a blessing beyond mere words. John 14:2-4, John 5:24-25, 2Timothy 4:7-8, John 3:16. Loving Betty was an easy thing to do!!!

Betty was a dear friend for over 40 years. When I started teaching at VCS in 1974, Betty was my teacher aide. But she was much more than that. She was my mentor and friend. I learned so much from Betty. Her love and compassion for children was contagious. Her smile and sweet voice brought joy to the classroom. And years after we both retired, our friendship stayed strong. I loved Betty like a mom and she will always have a special place in my heart! Linda Daggs
