Obituary of Irving C. Hayton

Irving C. Hayton "Punch", Mendon, NY, died suddenly, June 15, 2012 at his home in Chaumont, NY at the age of 73. Punch was born December 29, 1938 in Honeoye Falls, NY the son of William and Frances Clawson Hayton. Punch retired from the Town of Mendon Highway Department in 2000. He was predeceased by siblings, Laverne, Virginia and Doug. Punch is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Audrey; sons, Howard and Jeff Hayton; granddaughter Rachel Hayton; brothers, William (Mary) and Carl Hayton; sisters, Delora Young, Esther (Charles) Willard and Clarabelle Morey; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday June 18, from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, where Services will be held Tuesday, 11am. Private burial will take place in Mendon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Parkinson Foundation, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or to the Chaumont Fire Department, 11385 Route 12e, Chaumont, NY 13622.
