Ms. Louis was a friend of horticulturist, Richard Fenicchia. She met Dick, after publishing her book, "How Lilacs Came to Rochester," and became a good friend and loyal supporter. She was such an interesting, talented lady, and a good person. We are deeply saddend by her unexpected passing and wish to extend our sincere sympathy to her family. May the good Lord bring comfort your hearts.

Dorothy was a favorite customer of ours when we owned Patisserie Jean-Claude in Bushnells Basin. We enjoyed hearing her colorful stories. She visited us weekly. She kept our Black squirrels extremely well fed. She was such a sweet person and caring person. Heaven is a better place now.
