Obituary of Robert R. Borsching

Robert R. Borsching, Sr. age 86 of Honeoye Falls, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Robert had been a resident at the Canandaigua VA for the last several years. He was born the son of Richard and Cornelia Roulette Borsching on October 7, 1923 in Little Falls, NY. He was a Supervisor for Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester until his retirement. Robert was a WW II Army Veteran, a Mason, Toastmaster and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Fairport Ward. He held his private pilots license, played the bag pipes for the Shriners and was a well respected member of his church and community, as well as being a good friend to a great many people. He is survived by his wife, Irma; children, Bob, Betty, Bruce, Bradley, Bonnie, Bryan and Bilene; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be no prior calling. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 10 am at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, followed by his burial with full Military Honors at Bath National Cemetery at 1 pm.
