I have worked with Herm and have found that he was a nice guy to work for. Who always had a smile on his face. My best to Bev, Bill and Family at this time of loss.
Herm was a great guy!I always enjoyed Herm's visits to the produce departments at Tops,where I work.He took great pride in his product and I hope I did my part to sell it well.I knew him for many years and will miss him,he was a gentle and kind man as I knew him.
My sympathies to the family--I remember his smiling face and the welcome atmosphere in the Nies household. I have followed the family successes in newpaper articles and have always been impressed by the forward thinking and spirit of adventure that he and the whole family had. He will be greatly missed I am sure.
Herm was one of a kind. I consider myself blessed that I had the opportunity to work with him. His great laugh, the one that would burst out while he slapped his forehead and tipped back in his chair, will always stick with me.
