I met Marge at Pinehurst, when I began teaching the chair exercise classes there.
She was so sharp, and always on the ball, and I looked forward to her being in class (although she often was too busy to come!). She made the most of every day, and I was really hoping she'd make it to 105... I'll miss you Marge... thanks for some great memories.

Nana Mac, as I called her, was a bright, fun loving, caring person. Though she may have been 104, she never was "old"...her thoughts and ideas regarding life, politics, womens rights, and health care were innovative and forward thinking. Nana was a role model for both women and men. She has two great granddaughters who are nurses, in part from her influence. Nana was frisky, had great humor, a taste for wine and could drive a riding lawn mower and play a game of cards like no other! She will be missed, but her loving spirit will continue to be felt by all who's lives she touched. Thank you Nana Mac, you were the best!

I would like to add my thoughts and prayers for Marjorie's family and friends. Previously, I was the Exec. Dir. of Traditions In Caring and I spoke with Marjorie on numerous occasions. I fondly remember the first time that I spoke with her and we had a wonderful discussion about the field of nursing. We both agreed that once a nurse always a nurse. She definitely knew the definition of quality of care and taught me a lot about that through the years.

Marge was a long time friend of my parents, Bob and Dolores Loss. She was always in our life, traveling with us, parties for everything. She was a super lady, with great strength and perserverence. She was fun to listen to and hear about. Even in her wheel chair she was a person to be reckoned with.
