Obituary of John F. O'Mara

John Francis O'Mara of Honeoye Falls, died Wednesday, August 25, 2015 at age 83. He was born the son of Nicholas and Ida Patt O'Mara on February 25, 1932 in Holley, NY. John was an instrumental music teacher and Superintendent of Schools. He was also and Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Timothy (Patricia), Michael (Jennifer), John Jr. (Heather-Lynn); sister, Kathryn Marshall; brother, Nicholas O'Mara; 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Friends may call Friday, August 28, 2015 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 9 am at St. Marianne Cope Parish at St. Joseph's Church, Rush. Burial, Hector Union Cemetery, Burdette, NY. Donations to one's favorite charity.
