Obituary of Evelyn B. Lovejoy

Evelyn B. Lovejoy age 91, of Honeoye and formerly of Honeoye Falls and Hopewell, died Tuesday, August 22, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Rose Miller Brown, young son Bruce Martin Lovejoy, and husband Lowell along with all of her siblings and grandson, Alexander Lovejoy. Evelyn is survived by her children; Jeffrey (Pamela) Lovejoy of Canandaigua, Dale (Beverly) Lovejoy of Bloomfield, Corby (John) Broadwell of Honeoye, Dennis (Annette) Lovejoy of Honeoye, and Julie Lovejoy (Todd "Red" Rhodes) of Prattsburgh. 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Evelyn's joy was her family, always a devoted mother and there ready to love, help and make us all feel loved. Evelyn raised her children with Lowell, worked as a waitress in the 1970's at the Family Diner in Honeoye Falls. Later going on to work in Retail at various Scrantom's stores - which she was proud of. Evelyn was baptized, confirmed, married and raised her family in the Lutheran religion. She was a very faithful servant and member of the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany in Avon, NY. Friends and Family may call on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls, NY 14472. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany at 6050 East Avon-Lima Rd. Avon, NY 14414.
