Obituary of Joseph A. Klein
Joseph A. Klein, age 79 of Honeoye Falls, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 53 years, Roxanne (Harrison); his children Jonathan, Mark, Deanna Finn (Thomas); his grandchildren Sara, Rebecca, Natalie, Juliana, Elise, and Jessica (DiBiase); his sisters Fran Frommelt, and Deborah Krenzer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Joe graduated from Penfield High School and continued his education at Cornell University, earning his Bachelor's of Environmental Science. Following college, Joe worked as a Chemist for the Monroe County Health Department's Environmental Health Lab, where he met his wife Roxanne, made many friends, and retired after 30+ years.
Joe adored music, and shared his fever for the "oldies" with every generation. Many weekend evenings were filled with the sounds of him happily spinning vinyl from his stereo room. He loved all animals, and most specifically dogs. Joe and Roxanne loved and cared for several dogs through the years that came from local rescues, and considered them family.
Everyone who met or knew Joe, was struck by his kind and gentle demeanor. A steadfast friend, loving husband and father; he will be sorely missed, and forever remembered.
Friends may call Friday, June 23rd from 5-7:00 pm. at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe St, Honeoye Falls.
