Obituary of Alice J. DuVall

Alice. J .DuVall 8/16/1948 till 6/8/23 A loving and nurturing mother whom was an avid outdoor enthusiast. Alice was crafty and also a foodie, she lived an extraordinary life full of adventures. Alice graduated from John Marshall high school, and one of her first jobs was working the Princess Diner, followed by her working at General Motors for almost 30 years. To know her was to love her; and to be loved by her was the greatest blessing. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, daughter, cousin, and friend who will forever live in our hearts . Alice passed away peacefully on June 8th at home with her family. She is preceded in death by the love of her life Bert DuVall, along with her parents Elwood Bovay, Alice Bovay, and brother Ken Bovay. She is survived by her children, Heather(Dale) DuVall, Rob(Kari) Polito, Stephanie (Rob)DuVall- Swartzenberg, Katrina Polito, Bert(Anna) DuVall, Cori DuVall, Paulette(Mark) Foggetti, Sarah(Mark) DuVall , sister Jan( Greg)Bovay- Giordano, 31 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Family and friends may attend a Graveside Service Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 2:15 pm at Millers Corners Cemetery in Ionia.
