Obituary of Bette E. Geen

Bette E. Geen of Honeoye Falls, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at age 98. Bette was born the daughter of the late Norman and Ethel Culbertson Grant on February 18, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA. Bette was a retired teacher of the Rush Henritetta Central School District and was a long time parishoner of St. Joseph's Church in Rush. She was predeceased by son William Geen. Bette is survived by her loving and devoted children, Cindy Merkel, Sue (Jack) Burke, Peter (Chris) Geen; grandchildren, Suki and Billy Lista; and Logan, Katie (Vern) and Devon. Friends may call Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford St. Rochester. Private burial, Whitehaven Memorial Park.
