Cheryl was our sons learning Ctr. Teacher thru his high school years. She was an amazing caring teacher. One day when I saw her she said “” I like that your son feels comfortable with me and enjoys coming to see me daily, but please ask him not to hollar “”HI CHERYL HOWS YOUR DAY GOING”” I don’t mind if he calls me Cheryl privately but not in halls. Once when we were by campfire he said I have 3 people that helped me graduate with a regents diploma and 1st Cheryl, Mrs. Kelly (math tutor) and my mom. Many people, students were blessed to have known her. Rest In Peace, you will be missed by many.

I worked with Cheryl while I was a substitute at HFL. She was a knowledgeable, energetic person who worked hard with all students. She was a great help for me with students I did not know very well. My condolences to the family.

I taught mathematics with Cheryl for several years. She was in my classroom helping students with the many lessons I taught. Her assistance was invaluable
to the success of her students. She always had a positive attitude about everything. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Cheryl fondly. She was a sweet and caring person and she had a way of always making you feel special. When I was a new teacher at HFL, she came to my baby shower and made me a special towel for son. We always used her teddy towel and thought of her. Kindness and caring. That was Cheryl. May her memory be eternal. Heaven has a new bright angel.
Deepest Sympathy,
Patty Gitsis

I taught math with Cheryl for almost 20 years and was a witness to her kindness, selfless giving, hard work, determination, dedication, sense of humor, and love for her students and colleagues. She was one of the first to arrive at school and was often the last to leave. We all felt a huge loss when she left teaching and we enjoyed catching up with her at special events. One thing that I wish I had asked Cheryl to teach me was her art of chocolate making - I spent many rides home for Christmas with her boxes of chocolate-covered nuts/pretzels/candy on my lap, sharing them with my husband (after taking out my favorites)! I am so sad for all of us, but am very happy that she is no longer in pain. We love you, Cheryl - thank you for all that you did for your students, friends, and family.

Sincere condolences for the loss Mrs.Glamack, who was loved by many. Mrs.Glamack was a very caring person even during her battle and always lit up the room. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of me with her, but will always remember her kindness and hugs. Glad she is no longer physically suffering, but will miss her very much.
