Obituary of Wheeler D. Maynard

Wheeler Dean Maynard of Honeoye Falls, died peacefully April 10, 2022 at age 92. A Navy veteran, Wheeler received a bachelors degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in electrical engineering and an MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School. He retired from General Railway Signal where he was a long time executive. He is survived by his children Lawrence Boyd, Wheeler Jr. (Marsha) Maynard, Debbie (Thomas) Battaglia, Keith (Marianne) Maynard, Timothy (Deborah) Maynard, Jeffrey (Gayla) Maynard; grandchildren Richard, Matthew, Michael, Matthew, Brandy, Michael, Kristin, Jaime, Keith II, Marty, John; and 24 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Donna M. Maynard and granddaughters Elizabeth and Tiffany. Friends may call Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, where services will be held Thursday at 11 am. Burial, Honeoye Falls Cemetery.
