Obituary of John Thomas Kearney

John Thomas Kearney of Weeki Wachee, Florida and formerly of Livonia, NY went to meet his savior on September 4, 2021, at the age of 78. John was born in Rochester, NY on May 16, 1943, to Grant and Marjorie (Lynd) Kearney. John was self-employed as a well-respected mason worker. He served in the 25th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his beloved companion, Patricia Turner ; four children: John (Lynette), Jeffory (Kim), Jim and Kelsey (Casey); two sisters, Janice Russell (Mickey) and Arlene Kearney; grandchildren, Kiana, Kendyll, Jack, Taylor, Brendon, Cameron and Callie and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by two sisters, Lynda and Rose Mary and two brothers, Robert, and Grant J. He will be truly missed by all his Harley-Poker Run friends. In keeping with John's wishes, no formal funeral services will take place. Family and friends are invited for a celebration of life gathering at the Harrison-Lee American Legion Post 283 in Livonia Center on November 20, 2021, at 2 pm.
