I picked a gold candle because Krissys heart golden & a ray of sunshine wherever she went beamed from her. My sincere condolences to all her family & friends. I had many special memories growing up with her & all my cousins. Sunday football games at the Steed house & Thiele family picnics with of course baseball games every summer. So sorry to the family that I was not able to make it to the wake. Hopefully we can all get together this summer & share some special memories. Krissy is now 1 of the most beautiful & precious angels in heaven!

Would love to see the family but we are unable to make the hours. We watched Krissy grow up with our children as neighbors.
I am without words for the sorrow I feel. I can only wish the family peace n comfort, knowing she no longer suffers. She and her beautiful family, her siblings n friends know they will remain in our prayers. God Bless

To Krissy's family - my most heartfelt condolences. I knew Krissy from Mendon Pediatrics She was such a light; positive, kind, funny, and would do anything to help someone... Most recently I worked with her at the front desk for about a year. But before that, as well as during, all 4 of my children were patients of Dr. Meyer since about 2003. Krissy was always a friendly, smiling face and a constant at that office all those years. She always said hello and asked how we were doing as we walked by, as she did with all the parents and patients. When I worked there, she was always helpful, patient with me and all my questions, funny and a little sarcastic as well (which I deserved and we laughed about). She was the best part of my working day. We had only a couple opportunities to meet up after work and I regret not doing it more. I just love that sweet lady - she has left a mark on my life. Krissy, I hope you are on the heaven-beach with the other feisty-Angels having a fruity drink!! Much love to you my friend, and to your family. xoxo Trina VanNewkirk

To know Krissy was to LOVE Krissy. My deepest condolences to Joe, Jon, Brooke and Jordan. Your mom loved you without measure. She lit up every time she talked about you and was very proud of the adults you have become. To the members of the Compton and Steed family, your loss is felt by so many of us. I pray you find comfort in knowing that Krissy is not in pain and is resting peacefully. Until we meet again my girlfriend. XOXO

So many thoughts but too few words ... there is no way to lessen the sorrow of losing someone so precious to you. In this extremely sad time just know that those closest to you share in your grief and are there to give you strength and comfort. Prayers and hugs to you and our deepest sympathy. To my "littles sister" I can remember the day you were born and ready to come home from the hospital. Dad and I came to pick you and Mom up.
I was standing on the front seat of the car and I told our Dad, daddy can we just take mommy home and leave HER. Well I am glad we didn't leave YOU. You are the BEST SISTER and BEST FRIEND a Girl could ever have or wished for. You will be in my Heart FOREVER . I will Cherish ALL Of Our Great Memories. Until we meet again. Love You Diane
