I am so sorry to hear about Anna's passing. I got to know her through Janet,
and we all had some fun conversations and enjoyable dinner get-togethers
when Janet came to town. I hope she and Janet are together and talking about that Florida trip!
Condolences to the families.

Jeff and Family,
Very sorry to hear about Mom's passing. She and your Dad were amazing people, extremely hard workers, tough and resilient, entrepreneurs, great parents and just good folks. They don't make them like that anymore. I'm glad that I had the chance to know them and the wonderful family they raised.
My sincere condolences.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Werner. I did not see her regularly but I did see her occasionally at the farm market where she was a fixture. I will miss the chats I had with her which seemed to have no bounds. It was a pleasure to have known her and I will miss my stop ins to see her.

My condolences to the Werner family on the death of Anna. I often frequented the farm market on Henrietta Road when Anna was working there as I headed to Conesus Lake. She was friendly and very helpful to all who frequented the farm market. She would often speak of her son, I believe, and all the work that was being done on the farm in the spring, summer, and fall. I especially remember the "squash planting story." I also frequent the Werner stall at the public market most Saturdays. May you all, Werner family, wrap yourselves in memories of her in this time of sorrow. Marcia Habecker

Mom passed away finally giving in to her hard fought battle with her illnesses. I think she knew it was time to go and be with our father (John) who passed away in 2007 and she deeply missed him. Mom was like all who remember, but no one truly knows other than her children, grandchildren and closest friends how dedicated and hard of a worker Mom was. I will always carry with me the memories of her work ethic, what she did to raise 4 children and support a family and farm and all aspects of its operations. Mom and Dads work ethic was absorbed by all of us children and that is what has made us all successful in our professional careers. She was a proud grandparent and loved bragging about them to customers at the home farm market. I will greatly miss the opportunities to sit at our dinner table to talk and with little effort rope her into playing some euchre with family. She was competitive, knew how to play the card game well, taught by her parents (Grandma and Grandpa Garling ) and handed that skill and cunningness down to us. Mom unselfishly sat by my fathers side during all his health battles, sometimes ignoring her own. Mom was dedicated to her family and the farm and would not give in to her medical challenges. On days over the past few years that she didn't feel well she ignored her constraints and could not miss the opportunity to wait on, talk to or offer growing tips to the customers and community that supported the family farm. This is only a few qualities Mom had and memories could fill a book. She will be deeply missed by all. Rest in peace Mom. We love you, Alan

My deepest sympathy is extended to Jeff, Stephen, Alan, Cindy and their spouses and children. I will miss Ann at our family gatherings. I will miss her timely advice about that special flower, vegetable, or fruit. And most of all I will miss her always "being there". God bless you, Ann.

Not only a great mother who took the time to get us kids to school activities, scouts and be to activities with us while dad worked trick work at Gleasons and Kodak.Mom helped run the produce truck farm as much as Dad in our younger years.Mom you taught us that your name is worth something, your product that you put out should always and only be the best and that honesty is not just the best policy but the only policy in life.We never really counted over the years but Im sure you put in thousands of hours packing and grading produce to go to the market, other produce stands and area stores.Mom spent countless hours especially grading and packing tomatoes that ended up in Wegmans, Star Markets,Burdetts Food Market and many other farm stands in and around the Rochester area. You will never be forgotten by us your children or your extended family that knew you at the Werner Farm Stand. We love you and will miss your presence in our lives. Love you!!! Stephen.
