Mrs Lightner was my 4th grade teacher. Amazing the people you recall as a child, but she made a mark on my memory as someone that cared. Strict for sure but always cared.
To her friends and family: may the love of those around you get you through the days ahead. God bless.

I believe this is the Mrs. Lightner that taught me in the 4th grade at Lone Pine School. She was strict and tough but undoubtedly an excellent teacher. I definitely was one of her difficult students. With her guidance I learned much. She had her hands full with my class. I think back on those days at Lone Pine with fondness. I actually remember all my teacher's names.
God bless her on her journey home to our Lord and may the family be consoled knowing that many children were guided well by her knowledge and support.
