Obituary of Frances Allen-Fintel

Frances Mary Allen-Fintel passed peacefully away early in the morning of September 24th after a long battle with Ovarian cancer. She was born on December 4th, in 1949 to parents Elmer and Eleanor Pabst-Allen. She began working with her mother at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 16 and continued her career for the next fifty years, working diligently to do her part to make the medical care community better. During this time she attended and graduated from Becker Junior College and gave birth to three children, Steven in 1984, Patrick in 1988, and Sarah 1991, whom she loved dearly. Having already been an accomplished seamstress since High School, within the last 20 years she became an expert quilter, acquiring a plethora of fabrics, and crafting beautiful quilts for friends, family, and donating to children in need. She accepted and gave her love freely. She is joining her mother, father, and her brother David. She is loved and missed by a large family and a wide array of friends. Friends may share memories on Saturday, October the 13th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. She asked that in lieu of Flowers that a donation be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Home, or to the charity your choice.
