No words can describe fully what Kathy Lenahan meant to me. She was always teaching whether it be a school lesson, character lesson, etiquette lesson, social lesson, life lesson. She loved crafts, sewing, puzzles, reading, geneology. When talking with someone she always found a connection.I marvel at her mind and memory and will miss texting and asking "what was the name of ...." Because she always knew the answer! Kath said she didn't want to be defined by her cancer. Not a chance my friend.Your character and strength and determination for all that you've accomplished in your lifetime defines you and you will always be larger than life to so many.A treasured daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend. Your presence will be missed but your memory lives on.Much love to the Lenahans! Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dear David, Michael, Dan & Matthew,
Sometimes words do not say all we intend to express.
To think Kathy passed away one day before Bob is hard to grasp. It is hard to understand God’s reasoning or timing.
Please know you are ALL in my thoughts & prayers each day.
May you feel God’s presence each day forward.

The most important thing teachers can do is to connect and make a difference in the lives of their students. Kathy was a true difference- maker. She was a caring and dedicated colleague with a treasured sense of humor. Condolences to her family.

Dave and boys,
We have known Kathy for many years. Our families were involved in many different ways throughout the years. Scouts, etc. May your memories of her be strong in your hearts. She was a great woman and cared about so many others.
An especially good Special Ed teacher as I saw many times. She brightened the corner where she was. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
