Obituary of Ronald L. Years

Ronald L. Years, "Mickey" of Honeoye Falls, died Friday, July 12, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at age 70. Mickey was born October 24, 1942 in Canandaigua, NY the son of Raymond and Emma Harloff Years. Mickey was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. after 26 years and also worked 10 years at Deckman Oil. Mickey enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, sprint cars and Florida winters. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Catherine; his sons, Ronald J. (Robin), Raymond (Julie), Randall and Richard (Patricia); grandchildren Kali (William), Samantha, Justin and Matthew; great grandchildren, Aiden, Dylan and Brieanne; 3 brothers, 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, July15, 2013 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am, the Rev. Jerry Metz officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 Livingston County Campus, Mt. Morris, NY 14510 or to the Hemlock United Methodist Church .
