Please accept my sincere condolences. I did not know Ms. Ackerman; I was impressed by the obituary. She sounded like a woman of love and faith. The loss of such precious people in our life creates an immense desire for comfort. I find comfort in the Bible's message. There, Jehovah God provides the comfort we need and the hope to see our lost loved ones again. I hope you are able to draw comfort from the Bibles message as well.
