We have many wonderful memories of time spent with Gus and Marj at dinner parties and cruising. Although we have moved from the area and haven't seen Gus in 3 years we thought of him often and remember him as a kind gentleman with such a sincere interest in his moths! Wonderful man.

It was a priviledge to work with Professor Garay on the MCC SCAA Committee. He had a warm and generous spirit and was supportive of me, which has contributed to my professional growth. I was blessed to know him and to have the opportunity to learn from a humble and distinguished professor. The college's reputation for teaching excellence was established by distinguised professors like Gus Garay.
God bless the Garay family.

Gus was one of the most intelligent men I have ever met. He had a great sense of humor and wit. He could also be a flirt! I loved him and I miss him but I will be forever grateful that I met this wonderful "gentleman" and the time we spent together. The pleasure was mine Gus Thank-you! Suzanne thank-you for making me feel like a part of your family. Hugs hugs and more hugs Patty

To the Garay family,
Dr. Gus Garay added much value to his students and colleagues at MCC for many years. As a fellow Mendon resident and horse owner, Gus and I had many pleasant chats over the years. He was, indeed, a gentleman and a scholar. I'll miss him.
