A memorial service was held for our cousin, Gary Hanley, at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, in Honeoye Falls, N.Y., on July 21st.
It provided us, a climate in which to celebrate Gary’s life, mourn his loss, share our memories, express our love.
It was a beautiful tribute, that anyone could be proud of, and it served as a declaration that a life had been lived, that had touched us all, with kindness, friendship, exuberance and love.
Following the service, the mourners were invited to Avon Wesleyan Church, and feted to a bountiful and delicious luncheon. Thank you to Pastor Dan and the ladies providing this. It was, after all, the opportunity that allowed us to be together and visit with so many family members.
