Obituary of Arletta J. Shaffer

Arletta F. Shaffer of Honeoye, NY, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY, at age 87. Arletta was born the daughter of George and Gladys Miller Kaminska on September 6, 1924 in Buffalo, NY. Arletta was predeceased by her husband, John Jr., son, John III, daughter, Patricia Campbell and brother, Robert Kaminska. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (James) Briggs; grandchildren, Dawn (Les) Becker, James (Cathy) Briggs, Jason (Kim) Briggs, Gene Campbell and John R. Campbell; brother, George (Jean) Kaminska; sister in law, Betty Kaminska; several nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Family and friends may attend her Service, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 1 pm at the Honeoye United Church of Christ, 8758 W. Main St. Honeoye, Rev. Brian Krause officiating. Burial will take place in St. Matthew Cemetery, Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Conesus Lake Nursing Home Patient Activity Fund, 6131 Big Tree Rd., Livonia, NY 14487.
