My father lives in Daisy House and I saw Mabel three times a week over the past year.
It was hard to believe Mabel was 102 years old.
I remember when she told us one day that she had just gotten engaged and she was very happy.
If I could think of a word to describe her it would be dignified (which isn't always easy with dementia).
May God bless your family.

I am sad to say that I never met Mabel! Joan has spoken kindly of her over the years and I know that she was a wonderful person. Joan, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Mabel a couple of years ago on Thanksgiving day. I remember how much spunk she had for a woman of her age. Joan always spoke of her Mom to many of us at school. My condolences go out to Joan and her family.
