Obituary of Leland L. Irving

Leland L. Irving, of Honeoye Falls, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Highlands at Brighton. He was 89. Leland was predeceased by his wife Yvonne and grandson Tom. Born the son of Charles and Jenny Irving on November 22, 1921 in Little Falls, NY. Leland worked for many manufacturers throughout his life and retiring from Nalge in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his children, Linda (Jim) Cope, David (Roberta) Irving and Gary (Dolores) Irving; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Leland was an avid sportsman. He was very athletic, loved his Yankees and golfing. Friends may call Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, where Services will be held Saturday, 11 am. Burial, N. Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Benincasa, 3880 Rush-Mendon Road, Mendon, NY 14506.
