Obituary of Helene Kay Charron

Helene "Kay" Charron, (Shetler), of West Bloomfield, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at age 72. She was born the daughter of Ellis and Helen Moore Shetler on November 17, 1937 in West Bloomfield, NY. Kay retired from Monroe Community College where she was Chairperson of the Nursing Department. She was an active member of the West Bloomfield Congregational Church and also the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ron; her daughters, Michele (Gary) Gefell, Andrea Hagen; grandchildren, Stephen, Matthew, David and Jake. No prior calling. Friends may attend an Eastern Star Service at 1:30 pm followed her Memorial Service, at 2 pm on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the West Bloomfield Congregational Church, 9035 Routes 5 & 20. Burial will be private, W. Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the OES Nursing Scholarship Fund, payable to, The W.H. Albery Society, P. O. Box 391, Laurel, NY 11948 or to the W.
