Obituary of Richard H. Steffen

Richard H. Steffen, "Dick" died suddenly, April 7, 2010 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Dick was 72. He was born the son of Harry and Lois Ross Steffen on July 3, 1937 in Rochester, NY. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp for 3 years and was a life-time resident of Honeoye Falls. Dick served the Honeoye Falls area as a Banker for over 38 years, initially with State Bank of Honeoye Falls, retiring as VP of M & T Bank. No prior calling. Friends may attend his Memorial Service, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 2 pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 18 Victor Mendon Road, Mendon, NY, the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will be held in Honeoye Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church Building Fund, c/o Pastor Brian Smith, 18 Victor Mendon Road, Mendon, NY 14506 or the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Volunteer Ambulance Fund, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472.
