I realize that the contact I had with Kay was very little, but I remember her as being a very remarkable person. She seemed to always have a quick, ready smile with her eyes shining brightly. I am very glad that she passed through my life and was saddened when I read of her home-going. I called Ian to inform him of his grandmother's passing and he also was very sorry and deeply saddened. Since his GG (gr.grandmother) and his mom have passed on, the news to him did not come easy. Please accept our sincere condolences.

My fondest memory of Aunt Kay was on my wedding day April 6, 1991. My husband and I married at the house that we now live in with our three children.
Aunt Kay was sitting next to the old well pump in our front yard and I came over and gave her a hug and told her I was so happy that her and Uncle Don could make our wedding and she said to me "Valerie this is the most beautiful wedding I have been to in a long time, so simple, I have truly enjoyed it". She looked so relaxed and at peace next to that well pump. Every time I walk by my well pump I will say a hello to Aunt Kay. xx
