Obituary of Richard C. Shraeder

Richard C. Shraeder of Springwater/Dansville, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Livingston County Nursing and Rehab Facility in Mt. Morris, he was 83. Richard was formerly of Honeoye Falls, where he worked at the Honeoye Falls Post Office as a Mail Clerk. He was born the son of Carl and Adelaide Meise Shraeder on July 29, 1926 in Rochester, NY. He was a WW II Navy Veteran and was a former member of the Honeoye Falls Methodist Church. He was predeceased by wives, Marian and Janet. Survived by his children, Steven, Kevin, David Shraeder; Wendy Topoliuk, Penny Shraeder, Karen Shraeder and Tammy (Thomas) Knapp; grandchildren, Kyle Topoliuk, Kristen Shraeder and Jake Knapp; sister, Doris Brei. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, where Services will be held Friday, October 9, at 11 am. Burial, Honeoye Falls Cemetery.
