Obituary of Paul S. Tichenor

Paul S. Tichenor of Honeoye Falls, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at age 78. He was born the son of Paul and Grace Albright Tichenor on August 17, 1930, in Doylestown, PA. He was a graduate of Ithaca College. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, David (Karen) Tichenor of Honeoye Falls; Lisa (William) Curley of CA. Grandchildren, Michael, Kyle, Christopher, Matthew and Xandy. Sisters, Lynn Brittingler of PA and Shirley Chandler of MA. Several nieces and nephews. Paul owned and operated Tichenor Furniture Services, Inc. in Honeoye Falls for over 50 years. He was an Air Force Veteran. He was also a Town Councilman for Mendon. He was a member of the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion. Friends may call Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. His Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 17 at 10 am at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 37 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls.
