Obituary of Andrew J. Gagliardo

Andrew J. Gagliardo of Rochester, died, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at age 45. He was born the son of Frank A. and Barbara Smith Gagliardo on June 20, 1963 in Long Island, NY. Andrew was a member of the NRA, and was also a member of the American Pit Bull Association. He had a tremendous gift for training dogs and was a breeder and raised Pit Bulls. Andrew worked as a machinist at Florig Manufacturing on Long Island, before moving to the Rochester area in the late 1990's. He was predeceased by his parents, Barbara and Sgt. Frank Gagliardo, USMC, his sister Carol Mancari. He is survived by his sister Janet (Jay) Cruz; brother in law David Mancari; uncles, Dominick (Ann) and Nicholas (Gen) Gagliardo; nieces and nephews, Kristen (Jeffrey) Koppers and their son Jackson, Jason (Carol) Mancari and their son Jamison, Mark Mancari, Michael Mancari and Joshua Cruz. Many cousins, close loving friends including his chosen brother Tracy Hendershott. Friends may call Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, where services will be held Wednesday, June 3 at 1:30 pm. Burial, Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush.
