Harold Ball was a good friend of my grandfather, John Birchenough. We spent a lot of time with the Balls in Barnes Corners, New York. I remember him very fondly and I wish all the best to his family. Harold and Carol were always very kind to me. I am sorry that I cannot be there in person! God Bless, Michael Costik

He will always be remembered as you share the stories and the memories of how he lived his life and how very much he meant, may you find comfort...And, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith.-2Timothy 4:7. As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I shall certainly awake, for Jehovah himself keeps supporting me. -Psalms 3:5

As I would go to work each day, I would see Harold working in the vegetable garden with Carol. I would toot the horn as I drove by but not before I would see Harold's smiling face. A friend to all, the best neighbor anyone could ask for. Harold you are a saint.

How he would take time out of his day to stop by and drop off some veggies and to sit and chat while he drank coffee with me. He was always so nice and always had a smile to share, he was a very caring and loving person. He will always be in our thoughts. Thank you Harold for your friendship through the years. Love you always!
Your Friends,
Amy and Dan

Although it's been many years since I've had contact with the family, I was truly saddened to hear of Harold's passing. May Carol, Russell and Cheryl find comfort during this low point in time.
Grace and peace,
Ray

Uncle Harold was a fiesty character that loved to tell a good joke. He was always very friendly and I doubt if he ever met a stranger! I remember going north to stay with them and going to the steam shows in August. We always had a good time together. He will be greatly missed!

I feel special being his daughter and many times I have used his name with people around town because I know how much people loved and respected him. I was very proud to tell people who’s kid I was and if I met someone who did not know my Mom and Dad I was very happy to tell them all about them (if they wanted to listen that long!). We and the world have lost a one of a kind and he will be missed everyday. I love you Daddy!

My grandfather was one of the smartest men I will ever have known. He always had a joke to tell that had a way of fitting into what was going on in our lives. He was always very supportive of what I chose to do in life and I love him for that. I will never forget the memories I have of him, especially of camp. I feel that those years were the best ones of my childhood and it was all due to him. I LOVE YOU GRANDPA and will always miss you.
