Though I never had a personal relationship with Aunt Ruth, I remember her well from visiting her with my grandparents or Mom, and hearing updates from my grandmother in the recent years.
She held a dear place in my grandparent's heart, and I pray that she knew the Lord as her personal Saviour and therefore is rejoicing in His presence with her renewed body.

Ruth was my Aunt. My parents used to rave about what a good cook she turned into after having been raised in a convent and not trained in the kitchen. She gave me her recipe for pie crust and it called for chicken fat. We didn't see her too much because Uncle Jerry was mad alot. I remember meeting my cousin Nancy when she came to visit from California. I do not remember David. I do remember Philip and have met his 2 boys and daughter several times over the years.
Ruth was a loyal wife and I don't remember ever hearing her raise her voice to anyone.

May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and strength in the companionship of those who share your loss.... I have learned never to underestimate the healing power we all have. It is always there to be used for the highest good. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4) May it be a source of inner strength to know that there's a loving God watching over you, and that, throughout this time of need, He'll stay close by your side. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith.-2Timothy 4:7. As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I shall certainly awake, for Jehovah himself keeps supporting me. -Psalms 3:5
