Over the past forty years,I've often remembered Nancy; always thought there would be another moment when our paths might cross. There was one moment, probably in the Spring of 1968, that has stayed with me always: Nancy and I emerging from the front door of her house to greet Fred, getting out of his truck. His gaze meets hers. Radiance all around. "Isn't she beautiful?", said Fred.
Nancy. . .all-knowing, bohemian, charismatic, creative, in love. . and very, very beautiful. She was. She still is.
In remembrance,
Elizabeth (Sharon) Butler

Fred- My deepest sympathy for you and your family. So many precious memories that Nancy left for all of us. I feel truly blessed that I was able to spend time with her at the reunion in August. What she couldn’t express verbally she more than made up for with her beautiful smile and expressive eyes. Your girl really had a wonderful soul that touched so many people. Jim

Fred, during high school Nancy was such a dear friend. So creative, so kind, so sincere.
I remember both of you in your blue jeans, so in love, inseparable. Jan told me about Nancy and you and your wonderful four kids. I hope the love and care of your family and friends will help you at this time. You two were a true love story.
RIP Nancy, Ellen

Although I may not have had the pleasure of meeting Nancy, I think I know alot about her. You see, over a year ago an angel walked into my life. Her name is Morgan. Morgan's positive attitude and just her presence alone is enough to light up a room. She talked about her mom and dad all the time. She has shared alot of her memories with me and for that I am grateful. She has grown up to be one of the most devoted, caring and fun loving people I have ever met. She told me that people say she is alot like her mom. If that is the case then Nancy is also an angel and I am blessed to have known Nancy through knowing Morgan. My thought and prayers are with all of you. I love you, Morgan.

Dear Nancy - Such a long time ago we meet, we were young, happy setting the world on fire. Nothing has changed inside except perhaps the sadness of missing your embrace and the kindness of your words. The beauty of your art is still around us and the sounds you played on your piano will continue to be heard. Living next to your Mom for several years we shared many happy moments. I will miss you but before I go I want you to know that while thinking of you, I shed a tear last night, quickly the Wind picked up and turned on my timing light at the same moment my neighboor turned on his Xmas lights. I thought to myself - you are trying to say something or may be you're just happy and playing. I felt, isn't it the Lord's way? and I was able to smile.
I will miss you Nancy

I met Nancy way back when Nate was 3. Even though we were not close friends, I always cherished her as a friend and always will. She was such a sweet lady and so dearly loved her family. After having her triplets, Marilyn Palmer and I would visit her at the hospital and write in her journal. She was such a strong loving person with a smile on her face whenever you came in contact with her. I will always remember Nancy. My family and I send our deepest sympathy to Fred and their kids.....we too loved her.
God Bless everyone
