Uncle Bob always had a bright smile, a warm hug and a fun tale to tell. He had one of the kindest, most gentle hearts. I will truly miss him.

I met Bob and Ruth when I started attending St John's Episcopal Church 30 years ago. They made me feel welcome and part of the family. I have so many fond memories over the years. I will miss him greatly. God has taken home his special angel.

I enjoyed working with Bob at Highland Hospital for 6 years. He was always helpful and supportive...and a great friend to talk to. I loved hearing his stories about his time in the service. Bob also talked about his family which was very obviously the most important to him. I fondly remember how he called his daughter Amy "Sweet Pea"...one time I transferred a call to him and he assumed it was Amy so he answered the phone "Hi Sweet Pea". We had a good laugh because the caller was actually another manager from Highland Hospital. Bob was very diligent and dedicated. I will miss him greatly and wish to send sympathy to his beloved family who he loved so much.

Bob will be greatly missed by everyone at Highland, especially his fellow volunteers. He was such a strong, dedicated man who gave so much to so many. I will always remember Bob's friendly smile greeting everyone who came into the Volunteer Office. Bob was the epitome of selfless giving. He not only gave his time and experience but his friendship as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We were truly blessed to have known him.
