It's been 5 years now since you've passed, and it's been really difficult. To not have you here with us physically has been brutal. I wish you were able to to meet the love of my life, I wish you were able to always be there for me physically. I know you are there watching over me but it's just never been the same. I love you beyond anything in this entire world and I miss you beyond the seas and the stars. Visit me in my dreams daddy. I love you.

I have sooo many memories with you, David. It's hard to choose which one is my favorite. I do remember that you used to come to RSD every Wednesday night to eat dinner before you went to RRCD for some card tournaments (euchre), and all of us (kids) LOVED to sit with you during dinner and chat with you. You were sooo MUCH fun to talk with. You always had so many fun stories to tell, about your farming days, working at the farm. You were always telling us about your experiences. You are always willing to help people out no matter what, even if you were low on funds you always found a way to help people. You are a wonderful man, and I am TRULY glad that I was able to "marry" into the family and have you as my father-in-law. We love you and miss you VERY much. Seriously, you will NEVER be forgotten. ILY!

I'll always remember what a great protector my dad was to me. When I was a little girl and I had a bad dream, I would always run to him in the middle of the night and say "I had a bad dream" eventually he got so used to it, he would just open up his bed covers and move over and let me in. He held me so closely that I never had to be scared. I'm going to miss everything about him. Touching him, hugging him, being with him. I'll never let go of my daddy. You'll always have a spot in my heart that'll never change. I love you. and miss you TERRIBLY.
