Obituary of Ruth E. Bock

Ruth E. Bock of Rush, NY died Sunday October 14, 2012 surrounded by her family at age 75. She was born the daughter of Wayne and Louisa Running Jefferds on July 28, 1937 in Honeoye Falls, NY. She worked along side her husband at their family grocery in Rush, the former Bock's Grocery prior to the store closing in the mid 1990's. She was a member of the Rush United Methodist Church. Ruth is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years Robert; children, Steve (Christine) and Cindy Bock, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Sharon), Guy (Marge) Jefferds; sister, Mary Girard; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 2-4, 6-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls. Funeral Services Friday 11 am at the Rush United Methodist Church, 6200 Rush Lima Road. Burial Pine Hill Cemetery in Rush, NY.
