I’m so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. I remember all the Halligans playing football with my brothers as kids. My brother, Werner, was good friends with Mike, being close in age. I graduated with Paul since I was much younger. Later, as a teacher at HFL, I saw Mike frequently for he delivered the mail to the Middle School. He was a great guy and we always enjoyed reminiscing about days gone by. Peace and love to all of Mike’s family and friends. You have left a void, but now you are free without any pain. :(

Sending love and peace to my brother Mike. I am finding it hard to believe that he's passed. We were the younger Halligan boys and did a lot of things together. Mike was the one that would teach me how to drive, how to be more respectful of others, how to work hard for things I wanted and /or needed. I find now that I don't have that mentor anymore. My other brothers and sisters certainly are there for me, but Mike was my next older brother, and I miss him dearly. Knowing that eventually, the cancer would claim him, I wasn't ready emotionally.
Also, I played my first gig with Mike and my grandmother. Mike and I played in several different bands through the years. Bringing good times and good memories for many people.
So now all I have is the memories of all the gigs we did together. My heart aches, yet I feel a bit of happiness that he is not in pain anymore. I know I will see him again someday...............................goodbye my brother.............I love you Mikey

Our condolences go out to you Linda, Bailey, mikes family. We worked with Mike for many years he was such a joker, laughter was contagious. He would talk, send Dan all kind of jokes. He was always smiling with a joke or two. His singing in his band was the best! We are certainly going to miss your talks and you tremendously. We love you Mike!

Mike always had a ready smile and a quick wit. I remember how we would talk baseball (Tigers, especially) when he came to the Primary School and how we would pick up those conversations when he came to the Manor School. When I saw him this past spring, he was not well at all but the smile was still there and the jokes kept coming. What a winning attitude this guy had. He will be greatly missed.

Mike has always been so supportive and loving towards my whole family. They supported our kids fundraisers for sports and even went to their games. He had the best sense of humor. He shared many texts with my husband with jokes and memes. We loved his music and his kindness. Most importantly, he and Linda have always made us feel like part of the family. RIP Mike we will miss you.
