Obituary of Alwyn C. Rose

Alwyn C. Rose "Corky" of West Bloomfield passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on July 26, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife Mary E. Rose and daughter Brenda L. Rose. He is survived by his sons, Clayton (Kelly) Rose and Bruce (Cindy DiMora) Rose; 2 grandchildren, Alex (Cassandra) Rose and Kate Lynn (Rob Johnson) Rose; 2 great grandchildren, Cynthia and Robert along with many nieces and nephews. Corky love his hunting and fishing and his time with his wife at camp in Canada. He was a lifetime member of the West Bloomfield Fire Department where he served as a former Chief for many years. A member of the Lima American Legion Post 282 where he served as past commander. Friends may call Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where services will follow calling at 12 pm. Burial St. Bridget's Cemetery, Bloomfield, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the West Bloomfield Fire Department.
