From Jeremiah and Mary Ellen Murray Hilton Head Island: My aunt Bertha Meisenzahl was my fathers sister. Our Family used to visit the Meisenzahls for Sunday dinners. My brothers Paul, Father Bill and sisters Shirley and Elaine all knew them well. My condolences to everyone. I last saw my cousins Muffy and Choppy a few years ago. To both our special prayers go out. I was just a little boy ,but I can remember those extended family get togethers hosted by all the Meisenzahls. Just a side note, my wife Mary Ellen just discovered she was taught by Sally at Saint Agnes. What a small world. Rest in Peace Sally, you will be missed by many.

Sally and Chuck were my dad’s cousins. My father Paul Mutter was Cora Meisenzahl’s only child. My grandmother Cora, was born on 2/13/1886 in Rochester. I taught science at HFL for 25 years and just retired last June. I’m sorry for your loss.

Muffy, to me your parents were “Aunt Sally and Uncle Chuck.” I have fond memories of their many get-togethers with Mom and Dad, whether for cards, golf, or New Year’s Eve. I am sorry to hear of Sally’s passing. She lived a long and wonderful life.
