Dee and I had birthdays close together and she used to call me her Birthday Buddy! She always sent me a birthday card. I used to love to listen to Dee’s nursing stories. Dee loved her family so much. I am sure going to miss her.

Dee was one of the most loving and caring people I know, intensely devoted to family & friends, yet also so witty and funny. Feeling very grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing her. Dee made my life richer. Her presence will be missed.

Dee lived a few streets from my in-laws, was great friends of their family, and was so wonderful in welcoming me into the fold back in the early phases of my relationship with my now-husband in the 90s. I loved her Christmas parties. I loved her laugh. I loved her spirit and spunk. I will miss just about everything about this wonderful lady. Sending light and love to her family. So blessed to have known her!

Dee and I have been friends since our student nursing days. We were roommates and she was Maid of Honor when I married. She was also God Mother to my oldest child. I spoke to her just before the first of the year and she told me she was not doing well. However it is still a shock. I will miss her every day. My condolences to her family. I know how much she loved them.

I will miss our phone conversations. My friend since we were young teenagers -- so many wonderful memories of a soul sister. We shared our lives even though we did not get to visit. My thoughts and prayers are with her family that she loved so dearly -- always telling me about them and lots of conversations about what she was cooking for the family.
God bless you. With love, Louise

Dee was my wonderful and special friend since high school days at Lincoln High in Ellwood City. We were the 4 Musketeers; Dee, myself, Sallee and Darlene Tritt. I remember summer evenings playing tennis, attending drive-in movies, or just hanging out on Dee’s front porch talking about life, boys and the future, I remember, one summer when I was in college, I had strep throat. Dee was in nursing training and she came to my home and practiced her nursing skills on me, I still remember the back rub! She always remembered my birthday and every holiday with a greeting card. My favorite was a St. Patrick’s Day card that said “What is green and sits out in the back yard all night?” The answer…..Patio furniture!! I shall miss those cards, the phone conversations, the talks on Messenger and most of all, just knowing my friend loved me and was in my corner.I look forward to seeing her again someday when we are reunited in heaven. Until then, I love you, Dee, always.
